Artist Statement for Sylvia Chung

|
My work usually begins with a sketch,follow by a long process of searching to uncover thoughts,and truth that cannot be expressed in mere words. Abstract shape,colors,textures,tones,layering...all aspect of art elements become means of making discoveries about the world and myself. Media is just a tool to express myself, so I have switched from media to media according to my needs. During the process, I have had the most wonderful time,experiencing the joy of creation which comes from my inner mind.
