Artist Statement for Cindy Gray

My hope in drawing and painting is to evoke a feeling in the person viewing my work. I most often like to draw/paint people. What could possibly be a more fascinating or complex subject material?! I consider it my challenge to try and capture a feeling or emotion somehow and portray that.
