Artist Statement:
Working with figurative art
does not necessarily
illustrate reality
but rather recompose an image
using specific medium to
express an emotion,
sensations, attitudes.
I channel my interests to a
message that follows first
archiving the present in a
subjective sense considering
that the painting is
generating sensory images but
from a semiotics perspective,
signifies the existence of
something else, respectively
a mental construction.
What follow in my art is a
recontextualing an image to
embezzle original meaning of
an image drawn from real,
acquired a new sense, both at
sensorial leveland conceptual.
I am interested by space such
as social organizations, urban
area and opposition between
public space and private.
My Projects describe
dissolution subjective
perspective of daily reality.
