Artist Statement for Claude Laurent
|
|
|
I try to use a few lines to say a lot,stylized and colorful,using mainly acrylics on any supports,
such as wood,walls.canvas,paper,clay,etc
I teach how to paint on wood.
I do illustration and graphic art,T-Shirts design,CD cover,catalogues and more.
My concern in painting is mainly people,I observe the way they function and I try to translate it with lines and strong colors of life.
Being some time sarcastic with a point of humor.
