Artist Statement for Wendy Clayton Kindl
|

|
I began painting in 1999 when a friend took me to a Folk & Decorative Arts class using acrylics. I then ventured into Watercolours under the watchful eye of my tutor. I began teaching Folk Art to others and quickly realised I needed to expand my knowlegde of Drawing and set off a self taught path reading and practising whenever I could. I trip overseas from my home country of Australia, entered me into being commisioned to paint for United Nations Staff Members and I now have about 40 paintings all over the world. I now live in Austria with my Austrian husband and have just had my first exhibition here.
