Artist Statement:
I hate reading most artist's
statements and am reluctant to
write one of my own. I prefer
that my art simply be allowed
to stand alone and speak for
itself. I hate art that
requires the viewer to read
two pounds of text in order to
be "truly understood" in the
"proper perspective".
What you see on my canvases is
exactly what I intended, no
more, no less. Don't criticize
me for failing to achieve
something I never set out to
do in the first place.
I am a postmodern luddite who
enjoys the 19th and 20th
centuries and want no part of
the 21st....
