Artist Statement:
Many years ago I studied art
at Vesper George School of Art
in Boston, MA. After
graduating I received a
scholarship to the Cape School
of Art in Provincetown. I met
my husband in Provincetown
where we lived for many years
before moving to the
Washington DC area for
thirteen years. I have worked
and exhibited extensively in
both locations. I work in
several mediums, painting, oil
& watercolor, printing, mainly
etching, monoprint and
monotype, and lately have done
some digital art and book art.
I am also a poet and have
published three illustrated
books. Recently I became a
member of the Pen & Brush in
New York where I received two
awards for prints, the first a
solo show and the second an
hors concour award....
