Artist Statement:
The works displayed are giclee
prints of original digital
paintings and photo
deconstructions.
Many of the images use turn of
the century photography as a
starting point. The concept
behind those particular images
are to take imagery created at
the turn of the last century
when photography was a new
technology being explored as a
creative medium, and combining
it with digital technology.
The images use digital
technology as both a tool and
a medium to explore the use of
these tools as a new creative
medium creating images as
unique and one of a kind as
hand drawing or painting.
