Hello
I am an Austrian artist,
living in Chiang Mai since 20
years. I got this new website
www.doriskraushaar.com a few
month ago, and I am trying to
get in touch with the outer
world this way. I submitted on
this possibility some of my
photographes, in this
wonderful park I really like
to work in.

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
There is nothing else I can do really, then to express myself. I feel the constant urge to create and move from project to project. I want to capture the time I live in, for new generations to come. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Originally born in Vienna, Austria, I am living in Thailand since 1985. My main purpose of painting was to explore my own spirit and thoughts through many medias and colors. The last 10 years I enjoyed organizing exhibitions and participated in other painting projects.

1995 First participation at the "Chiangmai Social Installation" with "Men power", an art installation.
1996 second participation at the "Chiangmai Social Installation" with "We Are All Sitting in the Same Boat", an art installation.
1996-1997 Completed one year drama course at Kad Theatre, Kad Suan Kaew and joined the musical "Now and Then" as a dancer and singer for 8 months.
1997 First solo exhibition "Reaching Your Heart Through My Art" at Kad Suan Kaew Gallery, Chiangmai.
1997 Third participation at the "Chiangmai Social Installation" with the performers "The Step".
1997 First joint exhibition "Ambience" at the Westin Hotel, Chiangmai.
1998 Second Solo exhibition "Art to wear" at the Goethe-Institute ,Bangkok.
1999 Project "Yoga & Poetry", An inspiration for Body and Soul, written and photographed in Chiangmai.
1999 Created a Private Collection "Art To Wear" for Mrs. Ketty Malraisont.
2000 Third Solo exhibition "On Reflection" at Darling the Wine Pub, Chiangmai.
2001 Painting on Bamboo-acid free paper,16 paintings were shown on the website "HQ Gallery".
2001 Winning the Tower Record competition "For Ever Love" shown at Tower Record, Siam Centre, Bangkok.
2002 Fourth solo exhibition "Tools of Dr. Night"- A photo art exhibition at Darling the Wine Pub, Chiangmai. The same exhibition was shown during Jan.-Feb/2003. at Ban Pan Saen,Bangkok.
2003 Second Joint exhibition "Ladies Paint The Blues" at App.M Nimanheimin Rd. Soi 1, Chiangmai.
2003 Fifth Solo exhibition "Luminous Anonymity" at The House Restaurant, Chiangmai.
2004 Sixt Solo Exhibition "Pell - Mell" at the Writer Club Chiangmai.
2005 Third Joint exhibition "Fairytales and Folktales about Hans Christian Andersen" at La Luna Gallery Chiangmai.
