Artist Statement:
I love to paint in oils and
soft (chalk) pastels.
I often paint outside--en
plein air--and use an
Impressionist,
tonal-Impressionist, style of
painting.
I study color theory every
morning and have studied and
copied the great Masters of
Impressionism and Post
Impressionism: Monet,
Pissarro, and Sisely as well
as Degas, Cezanne and Vincent
van Gogh, etc.
In college I studied art and
painting under a number of
accomplished artists such as
Adam Grosowski.
I am learning as I grow and am
excited to do art and share it
with the world.
