Artist Statement for Dave Wilder
|
|
|
Working from a secret subterranean lair somewhere in the wilds of Arizona, Dave Wilder creates paintings and illustrations that dare to challenge the conventions of traditional ‘Western Art’. With a potent brew of humor, surrealism and kitschy Southwestern imagery, his pictures have been known to violate natural law, refined sensibilities and the liquor statutes of certain Western states.
