Artist Statement:
Hello, Bonjour, Salam, Shalom,
Bonjorno, Guten Tag, Dobry
den, Namaste
Since my father is no longer
with us, I, Marjan
Zahed-Kindersley, have decided
or rather have been deciding
to set up a website for my
late father's work. Whether he
would have wished this or not,
I cannot really say, for he
used to change his mind on a
forever-wave. However, I
think, that he would have
appreciated having his work
displayed and perhaps touched
a few hearts and have enhanced
lives.
I have, as usual, deliberately
scanned the paintings badly.
They are not really for sale
and I know that he used to
work hours and hours, months
and months on his paintings
and a mere electronic glance
would give a feel of the
paintings, but not do them
justice. (Absolutely
meticulous brushwork,
sometimes with blinding
goldleaf.)
I'm hoping that his original
paintings will be seen more
often.
In the meantime, please, bear
with me and I shall update
this page as much as I can....
