”I feel drawn to ancient symbols, especially those relating to women. I appreciate the color and texture of Matisse, the imagination and color of Chagall, the innovation and craftsmanship of Rauschenburg and Jasper Johns, and the visual voice of feminist artists.
I love to travel to experience people and things within their own environments and culture. I love color and texture, especially vibrant color and organic texture. I feel and paint the interconnectedness of shape, color and form, and of people and places which span across time.”
Most recent media explorations include abstract portraits, acrylics, watercolor, and printmaking. She is busy with commissions from non-profit organizations and patrons around the world.
