Artist Statement:
My work is primarily concerned
with the relationship between
the unconscious and
consciousness. Jungian dream
psychology informs much of my
work as I look for the symbols
of everyday life that
determine dreams in my
unconscious and inform the
visual experiences of my
conscious hours. The search
for a link between the
spiritual and the material is
a constant in my work.
Also there is a sense of
displacement in the
unconscious world, which is
similar to my conscious
feelings of being an Italian
immigrant living in a foreign
country....
