Artist statement :
The oriental theories of
knowledge hold as their canon
of truth, not the empirical
perception, but an unknown
model from the inside. My aim
is thus not to create a new
object but to try and search
for its essence. It is an
attempt to analyse existing
objects : in order to do this,
I deconstruct them and this
deconstruction also becomes a
new reconstruction. If the
image is at first mental, my
experimentation will be
considered as a verification
rather than as a source of
theory : the breaking down of
a form in order to reduce it
to its concept.
