Artist Statement for Dana Arvidson
|
|
|
I was born in Iowa. My first love was color. It allowed me to record what I saw and felt.
I work primarily in Acrylics, but produce works in Watercolor, Colored Pencil, Graphite, Oils, Photo Oils, Glass Painting, and Woodburning as well. I also do Faux Finishing and alot of Mural Work.
I try to bring the viewer in and hopefully evoke a smile, laugh, tear or perhaps a cherished memory sparked.
I have had no formal training. I am self taught.
