Artist Statement:
“One way to lead a colorful
life is to surround yourself
with a multitude of colors.”
In the first series of single
line art, I create fluid and
eye-catching visuals that
capture the imagination. The
art style is quite natural and
instinctive. It is
characterised by strong
contrasting fields of pure hue
or harmonious tones and a
surprisingly modernistic sense
of feeling and expression.
Sometimes playful and at times
mentally challenging too as
the audience tries to guess
what the visual is and trying
to see what I have seen.
I have been interested in
creating different types of
art for many years. After many
years of undecided art styles,
I decided to create my own
kind of art. After some more
time experimenting with
different styles, I came
across a drawing that I had
done many times before. It
looked like doodles of
nonsense, but as I looked
closed at the lines, it dawned
on me that I am able to see
what they were before anything
was added to it. Imagine
yourself looking at clouds in
the sky. One floats by and you
wonder what it is in the shape
of. Is it a dog, a face...
