Artist Statement:
Maxime de Simone is a French
artist who lives in the South
of France, in a small village
called "les Salces".
He learnt the art of jewellery
by watching oriental craftsmen
during a journey through
middle east India and Nepal.
All the pieces of jewellery
are made one by one from
bronze sheets an wires which
are cut and welded very
finely. Semi-precious stones
are set such as cornelian,
onyx and malachite.
