Artist Statement:
In my 30 some years of
painting and drawing I have
explored many "isms" including
realism, surrealism and
impressionism.
While always keeping in mind
that working from life gives
us tools for communication , I
have always thought artists
need to dream, to envision the
spirit that lies just below
the surface of what we see.
The noble struggle, that of
bringing depth and life to Art
motivates me to continue
working at all levels from one
painting to the next....
