Artist Statement:
As an artist, I find myself
painting many subjects from
people to landscapes. Above
all, I am influenced by art if
it moves me emotionally and
phsyically.
My most recent work involves
SKYSCAPES -- I've always been
amazed at how expressive and
mood evoking the sky can be
due to the constant changes in
the elements. From the time I
can remember, I always found
myself watching the clouds
travel and tumble into
different shapes and sizes to
form some of the most
breathtaking imagery I've ever
seen.
This series of paintings
derived from intuition, memory
and direct observation of the
clouds. My intent was to
capture beautiful poetic
moments that are spiritual,
powerful and emotionally
charged....
