D. DELREVERDA-JENNINGS /
Mixed-Media Art Design

Influenced by the kaleidoscope
of cultural nuances, art and
its appreciation has always
been a constant in my life of
creative free spirit. I have
always known that an excellent
aspect of arts crafting is in
the power to change the
ordinary into something that
is extraordinary! My work is
both unusual and unique. I
utilize mixed-media producing
dimensional pieces inclusive
of highly charged, worked and
reworked (chased and
repousse`d) surfaces or deep
variant tactile compositions.
Many of my pieces mediate
between functionality and
existence as objects of
beauty.
My signature sculptural works
are organic, extremely
detailed and incised. I create
ethereal, organic work
reminiscent of ancient
entities whose silent inner
voices whisper intimately of
whom I was before I became who
I want to be. Light shimmers
in undulating patinas within
the incised sections or speak
in bold character in the
unusual intricate relief
textures. I bring facets of my
sculptural techniques to my
textural abstract
compositional work utilizing
vibrant hues and complex
surfaces. My work is pure
instinct. Raw, expressive
passion goes into every last
detail. I work easily within
an unlimited range of 2 and
3-dimensional...
