Casters Dimitri living in Diepenbeek ( Belgium ), born in Genk 1969
It is through his abstract expressionism enriched with figurative elements that Dimitri Casters ( originally from Genk in Belgium ) recounts the story of the battle between man and life, man and myths, man and faith. A story of every era, which has fed all the fantasies in diverse forms of interpretation and appreciation: flight ahead of life, the future, the past, chances, introspection and wisdom. The battle against frustrations, the euphoria of happiness, the obsession with life and death; the artist creates his own world of interpretation and his own vision. A painting that evokes a new story every day, not only its own story, but above all your own. The artist invents his palette and his own colourfull language, borrowed from the dialectic a nature, from the ancient hieroglyphs, from unwritten language, from symbols, but also from the signs of our modern world, in which none will recognise the traces of our civilisation. With the honesty of his spontaneous expression, the artist brings fort the profound soul of the world in which he lives, and not merely a copy of reality.
