ABOUT SELF
The myopia of the society with the best research results does not love and does not redeem, it only lives suspended
between two states: utilitarian and ludicrous. Human solidarity there where the ones abandoned by fate beg for forgiveness becomes the enthusiasts’ drama.

Unidirectional Thoughts
The Healing
Andrei Georgescu, the author, through his work, “Unidirectional Thoughts – The Healing”, makes a reference to a psychological- psychosomatic and scientific course that is centered on the process of healing.
The process of healing is put into a different light, a new point of view is being created, different from the traditional vision. The healing is seen as a process of self conscience (the self knowledge), a process of profound cognition of the surrounding world, a process of cognition of the self possessed capacities.
The bridge that links this therapeutic intention to the visual-artistic language, is the image seen as an archetype. There must be profoundly known the senses and the meanings of each visual act, as process and interior mechanism. All the images that are produced, speak about us. The visual language works as code, and the knowledge of this permits the direct access to the healing process. The knowledge and the consciousness, of the visual archetypes and the psychological models together, compose the code of any visual image.
This may be produced in a conscious or unconscious way, and forms either way, a model that may correct some erroneous mental states, and a permanent healing can be reached.
Each of us carries inside an image – model. This is precise, unique and does not change trough out the duration of life. This model constitutes the perfect form of the human being. Knowing this image – model in its perfect form, at the specific time when it is being changed by a disease, by noticing the degradation, it may be corrected and regenerated through artistic methodology (drawing), and it may be rebuilt as perfect, and through this action also the complete healing of the disease is being obtained.
Question 1: Why is such a complex problem as the one of healing debated upon in a visual art thesis?
A: In my opinion, by having competence in psychology and visual arts, I can say that the visual language has a very important role in the process of healing. It is not only a complementary therapy, but the visual language can heal. The mechanisms that allow the usage of the visual language as a medical instrument are extremely little known and studied, because of the fact that the psychologists and doctors are not specialists in the field of visual language, and they do not understand it.
Question 2: Which are, in your opinion, the premises that link the visual- artistic language to the healing process?
A: In my opinion, by having thorough and profound researched the visual arts field, this may make us aware of the existence of a fixed image – model, that all of us are carrying. This model, is an extraordinary system, very precise, that shows us the status of our organism at each moment. The internal healing is based on the process of correction of this image-model.
Question 3: Why do you consider necessary the study of the dreams? And how can dreams help maintain an optimal relation between the subject and the real world?
A: Dreams are a “spiritual gate”. The first noticeable symptoms, in any type of disturbance, conflicts, problems of any kind, cause changes in the dreams’ content. Through dreams, we succeed to transform a part of our energy into another type of energy that possesses a high healing potential. The unique way that allows a lasting healing represents the consciousness of what our subconscious transmits through our dreams. The healing is contained by these.
