Artist Statement:
Darrel McPherson MA, has
studied art at the Indiana
University and the University
of Memphis. The artist now
resides in San Diego and is
known as a traditional
California artist.
My technique evolved into
translucent use of color in
his paintings. I liken my
work tonal art that has
atmospheric depth and luminous
qualities. I paint wherever I
wander, capturing the moment
and mood. I consider myself
a bit of a romantic, something
I could never achieve in my
earlier more abstract works.

collected worldwide.
