Artist Statement:
DONALD K. HALL Don was born
in Ottawa Canada and has been
painting for 30 years. He has
personally studied with
internationally renowned water
Colorist Zoltan Szabo and
Contemporary teacher and
artist Tom Lynch. While living
in Edmonton Alberta Canada, he
was recognized for his
landscapes of Jasper & Banff
Canadian National Parks.
Don is also an
accomplished sculptor, jewelry
designer, Custom Gold and
Silversmith and was owner of
Diana Creations Ltd. a chain
of jewelry stores featuring
his original designs and named
in honor of Don's wife Diane.
Don regrets that Arthritis has
taken the ability to sculpt
and work with metal away but
with the encouragement and
inspiration of his wife of 32
years Don now concentrates on
his painting.
Residing in Hawaii Don
appreciates the beauty and
energy unique to Hawaii. His
works signed AD. Hall and is
collected internationally and
is very popular among those
who look at his Landscape and
Seascape paintings not seeking
for dazzling shock or
perplexity, Don's works please
those who like beauty at first
glance without further
explanation. Captivated by
