Artist Statement:
Born in Italy, Dora had a
passion for painting from her
early teens. Her ability was
recognized with success at
school art shows.
Dora worked in business for
many years, initially in Italy
and then after a period of
living in San Diego,
California, in England.
After moving to Cayman in
2000, Dora has focused on
painting and on further her
art studies. Dora’s influences
include the great masters of
the Renaissance and their
fascination with the human
body.
Dora is also heavily
influenced by the works of
Georgia O’ Keeffe and her
ability to evoke feelings
through the images of flowers
Dora Williams’s work is
included in private
collections in the Cayman
Islands, Brazil, Ontario-
Canada, and Italy.
Her Work is shown in Grand
