Biggest Artistic Inspiration My biggest inspirations while I was studying were Lane Fabrick and Bill Chamberlain. The biggest inspiration to my artwork is found in the shadows that fall across the human form when the light hits it just right.

Why Did You Become An Artist Why did I become an artist? Because that's what I was put here to be.

Your Personal Biography I was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I took as many art classes as I could in school because it came easy to me and I didn't have to put forth a lot of effort or do any studying. I moved to Dallas, Texas for ten years and after that to Cleveland, Ohio. During this time I realized that I was meant to be an artist, so as soon as I could I left my job and devoted all my energy to being an artist. Soon afterwards I moved back home to care for my mother until her death. I now do artwork full time, mostly acrylic painting, but also graphite, pastel, watercolor, and pen and ink. I've done many gallery shows and have also written and illustrated a graphic novel, "Epitaph".
