The Creative Process
From Conception to Completion
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Date Reception
2/26 - 3/24/02 3/7 4:30 - 7:00pm
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The original idea for the exhibit "The Creative Process" came from a show at The Brickbottom Gallery in Somerville in the Fall of 2001. The exhibit was offered in two parts and included many of the artists and designers at Brickbottom. From that original show designers were chosen from different design fields who would be able to show students how concepts are formulated and brought to completion. Design fields included are animation, architecture, brand identity, illustration, industrial product, sculpture, and toy design.
Brickbottom is one of the largest artist owned live/work spaces in the country. All of the designers in this exhibit are multi-talented and most have created their own websites and promotional materials. For more information on these designers do visit their websites. The websites are listed on a separate sheet found in the Artist's Information book.
