Artist Statement:
In the process of discovering my artistic vocabulary, I have always attempted to follow the visions that come into my mind/thoughts…...I paint from the inside out. I have come to the realization that for better or worse these visions are who I am. I embrace staggering personal change and always try to turn my fears and self-doubts into new movements and compositions. Nature has always showed me all sorts of wondrous things. Is this enough? Things change. I no longer create what I envision by myself, having reached a juncture in my life that I search not only nature, but also the camaraderie of my fellow artists and human beings in order to achieve my visions.
My current work in 2006 are titled “Matmos” They are small works on Paper.
I try to make them my dance partners….They lead, I attempt to follow. They are about movement…Musical scales and notation. Percussion….
I think they are a prelude to work on a much bigger scale. Prototypes perhaps?

Studied at San Francisco City College with Glen Moriwaki and Verity Dierauf.
The International School of Art (Italy) with; Nick Carone, Gregory Amenoff, Roberto Caracciolo, Dan Gustin, Scott Aldrich, and John Lees.
