This series makes an observation of American popular culture and how it affects our perception of the world. Living in America, we are overwhelmed by the media: news stories ranging from war in Iraq to the paternity of Anna Nicole Smith's baby. Many Americans - myself included - know more about Britney Spears than they do about the conflict in Darfur, Sudan.
Does our obsession with celebrity culture serve a purpose?
