Artist Statement:
I always want to keep working, and find new things in all types of art. From classical to experimental US late 80's - early 90's punk music, Verdensteatret installation and new media, old Jodhpur miniatures, German Expressionist painting and print making. Film, photography, writing, anything good. My work is currently figurative painting and drawing, and guitar based music. The bulk is figurative painting. Art is an all-eating and destructive addiction, but positive. My art is from imagination, and often has people relating to animals in it. I don't usually do any preparatory work, thinking or sketches. It is virtually all spontaneous. The figures are nearly always anonymous, colours and images made up as I go. My wife and I work in the same room together, usually for at least a few hours a day. We prefer working at home to a studio. Living, sleeping, working and playing music surrounded by ours and friends art....
