"Art should reveal another
world, a different dimension,
a different way of seeing. It
should strip the ordinary
senses away and show the world
which is unperceivable with
ordinary sight and feeling.
This does not require profound
academic training. Manye
xamples of such work can be
found in the crudest of naive
artists. Training and
proficiency in this regard
mean nothing.
Art can only reveal this to
the extent that the artist is
able to transcend the
boundaries and limits of
primate perception. Art which
appeals to the primate self
