Artist Statement:
My name is Eleanor Bodner, and
I have been a serious artist
most of my life. However, for
the last 15 years, taking care
of business precluded any
serious pursuit of art, so the
career I had spent many years
building had to be put on
hold. Added to that I moved
to another area where my work
is unknown, so I am starting
all over again. I recently
have switched careers to allow
me more time to devote to art.
I love working in acrylics
with vivid colors and
contrasts, although drawing in
pencil or pen & ink has always
been my favorite. I change
subject matter frequently, but
spend a lot of time doing
artwork for children or for
those of us who haven't grown
up completely.
In the past, I have had
artwork featured in RSVP
Calendars, displays at the
Ocean Shores Convention Center
(Washington State)as well as
several area businesses, and
awards in many juried shows in
the Southwest Washington area.
I hope you enjoy my work, and
