Artist Statement:
Classically trained in the fine arts of painting and drawing, I have expanded my artistic horizons to include Digital Art, Web Design, and Computer Animation. The true challenge, however, comes from attempts to combine all of these disciplines into one piece of art. I'll let you know when that happens.
For now, I am currently employed, enjoying a position that allows my creative tendencies to really run amuck, and in my free time (all twelve minutes of it), I enjoy delving back into the world of painting. I'll be uploading samples of my recent work very soon... I'm rather proud of these latest pieces.
My influences have always been very diverse, from such sources as Jeff Koons, Mark Kostabi, Jess (Collins), Renoir, and Berke Breathed... and the amazing crayon drawings of my two little ones, Matt and Chris. While I truly enjoy painting in an abstract-expressionist style, I admire the work of realists, and am delighted to see a resurgence of that form in recent years.
