I have loved the works of the Orientalists such as Jean Léon Gérôme or Ludwig Deutsch for their intricate and colorful depiction of people.
To reflect the beauty and individuality of each person and their cultural heritage is what I am to capture with utmost care in my own work. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I guess from early childhood, I had a facination with drawing and capturing things I saw around me. My notebooks in school were always embellished with my work and my biggest fan was one of my teachers, who kept collecting my work.
My professional live has taken many turns since then, but I eventually found my way back to my true calling and persued a career in the fine arts.
Now, when I see my portraits evoke joy and sometimes tears of gratitude, I feel that my work has a greater purpose then I could ever have imagined. |
