Resume : Only latin american winner among worldwide painters, at 1996 Talent of the Year Competition by the renowned art magazine ARTIS SPECTRUM and participation of Agora Gallery(NY). Over sixty (60) awards : a Great Honour Medal, 3 Gold Medals, Gold Trophy, 2 First Prizes ( 1 Lions), 3 Acquisitions by City Halls and S.Paulo State Culture Dept, 14 Silver Medals, 15 Bronze Medals, 1 Bronze Trophy, and other prizes . 5 times invited as Jury Member of official group exhibitions. Paintings reproduced in 4 formal group exhibition catalogs. Studied at APBA and with Anna Guerrero Schultz.
Prizes received from hands of renowned artists as Mario Zanini and Aldemir Martins-( Jury Members ).
Paintings in 16 ( sixteen ) Museum’s Official Galleries. Accepted in 155 group exhibtions. Mentioned in the Brazilian Artists Dictionary of Culture Dept.MEC-INL as Maria Thereza Fernandes. .
Artist decided in 1983 to stop participations in Exhibitions after 60 awards to allow newcomers stimulus possibility. Deceased in 1996.
