Artist Statement:
The works that were included
in this portfolio are all
portraits that were based on
trashed photographs. The mere
fact that these photographs
lacked any value to its
posessor adds a certain sense
of tragedy to even the stalest
of pictures. From a thrown out
photo album one can conclude
decay and death, in lose
pictures it is harder to
determine the essence of the
underlying drama. It is this
enigma that left the artist
wondering during the act of
painting about the fallen
lives of unknown people....
