Experimenting and learning are two of the most exciting aspects of living life as an artist. The possibilities are endless. I never tire of learnig new techniques, working in new mediums in new styles. All the time learning about myself, my limitation and my potential to grow and change as an artist. I enjoty the challenge of conveying the seemingly intangable things in life like moods and emotions as much as I enjoy painting the simple beauty of flowers. In my work I often choose to incorporate images, elements and colors found in nature. In recent collages I incorporated: sand, beach glass, dried flowers, twigs, leaves and stone. Some of which were inspired by and collected on a pleasure trip to Central America. Art is an important part of my existance. It is a part of who I really want be, how i see the world and its the way in which I want to experience this life.
