Artist Statement:
I was born in Vilnius in 1970. There I grew up, finished High School, studied architecture. In 1988-1989 I worked at the National Drama Theatre in Vilnius as a decorator. In 1992 I got married and together with my wife Lolita moved to live in Kretinga. Another couple – daughter Fausta and son Gabrielius – joined our couple there. I began participating in exhibitions in 1992 and since then have been working as a free artist (except for 1998-1999, when I taught history of art at Franciscan Gymnasium in the 10-12th forms).
