BIOGRAPHY
FRANCISCO VIDAL GREW UP IN BARRANQUILLA,COLOMBIA.AFTER ATTENDING FACULTITY OF FINE ARTS 'BELLAS ARTES FOR THREE YEARS,HE WORKED IN HIS HOME-STUDIO IN BARRANQUILLA AND in 1969 he lef to New York City.In 1984 he was honor with a grant from The Jerome Foundation in New York City for study Lithography. Also in 1984 another Scholarship for a Studio in national Studios Program,Project Studios One,Long Island City, New York for two years 1984-1986.In 1992 gain a Scholarship for $5.000 fron The Endowment for the Artsregional Scholarship,Baltimore,Maryland. Hi exhibit his paintings in galleries and Museums in New York City and another city's in U.S.A. also in Mexico,Monterrey,Colombia,Italy,Spain and South America.His works encompasses landscape,portraiture,figure style,elegant and colorful.Francisco Vidal currently lives and works in New York. |
