Welcome to Felicia Glidden's Portfolio. Browse Glidden's body of work: My current work explores planes of space which encompass empty volumetric spheres. Using cast iron and bronze, I depict spatial relationships of the three dimensions, considering the realm of movement I live within. I push the process in order to create thin veils of flashing to depict an aspect of weightlessness. The spherical shape represents both the microcosm: the internal space of the body, and the macrocosm: the movement of the celestial bodies.
