Artist Statement:
I first became interested in photography 22 years ago while working as a pilot for a small airline in the Solomon Islands. I learned early on that I had a long way to go if I was ever going to be able to capture the beauty of the area and the people. Through many wasted rolls of film and months of practice, my photography began to improve. With words of encouragement from my friend, Australian photographer and author Mike McCoy and other expatriates in the area, I slowly developed a life long relationship with photography, which I still enjoy today.
I am now digitally altering my images to bring out their artistic qualities. This technique combined with the many different printing papers available result in artistic images that are best framed, matted and displayed. For this market my pictures will be priced extremely reasonable.
For a postcard sized proof send $3.00 US [ inside US ]
or $6.00 US [ outside US ] to: Terry Holt
10 Erickson Dr. Friday Harbor, WA 98250 USA
I will return a digitally printed, photographic quality proof with the price deductible from any additional purchase.
I hope you like my work!
