Artist Statement:
I have always loved drawing -
ever since I was able to hold
a pencil. My favourite
subjects have always been
animals as they have meant a
lot to me since I was little -
horses in particular. When
drawing or painting a beloved
pet, I endeavour to capture
their essence and personality,
not 'just' their looks. It is
a very rewarding thing to do.
I've been taking pet portrait
commissions for several years
now and enjoy it more and
more. Every portrait is
special and a new experience.
