Artist Statement:
Marion Serres, an accomplished
handweaver and fiber artist,
has a working studio in her
home in the pastoral Salinas
Valley of California. She
designs woven tapestries from
nature, abstract impressions
inspired by the world around
us. Commissions are accepted
for custom table pieces,
pillows or "wallhangings to
match your couch." The weaver
has been honored with many
awards and currently displays
work in the Valley Art
Gallery, Salinas. Marion is
Director and working member of
the Gallery in Salinas,
California, an Artists'
Cooperative.
