Artist Statement:
Fiona Kinsella is a Canadian
artist. Kinsella's exhibition
history includes shows at

Winnipeg, Manitoba,; Harcourt
House in Edmonton, Alberta;;
RCA Visual in St. John's
Newfoundland; Artcite Inc. in

Gallery in London Ontario;
White Water Gallery in North
Bay; The Upper Canada Brewing
Company in Toronto, Canada.
The University of Minnesota in
St. Paul, USA
Fiona studied Fine Art at the
University of Guelph, and
Computer Graphics at Sheridan
College, in Ontario. Her most
recent exhibition was in March
2003 at transit gallery in
Hamilton, Ontario. The work
in this exhibition was created
with the assistance of a grant
awarded by the Canada Council
for the Arts in 2001.
In September 2003 there will
be a review of the Hamilton
exhibition in "Artichoke",
Western Canada's Award Winning
Visual Arts Magazine,
Vancouver, BC.

with, the aim of all these
institutions: factories,
schools, psychiatric
hospitals, hospitals, prisons
is not to exclude, but to
attach individuals: it
attaches them to a production
apparatus. The school doesn't
exclude individuals, even in
confining them: it fastens ...
