Artist Statement:
My first works evolved from the bending, shaping and fusing of scrap electrical metallic tubing. As I challenged my abilities as an artist, I found that my direction was fine art and replaced my stock with refined materials. Main mediums used are steel and aluminum, brushed then sealed with an epoxy base coat and finally an aliphatic urethane.
Every creation that I produce is very timely and demanding, but this is satisfied by the determination to create a mark in society that will be admired for years, not admired than pushed aside. Every piece is very unique, signed and will never be duplicated.
My ability to create is all self taught. My creations are never completely planed, but started with a size and object in mind. From there my mood, sounds and atmosphere finishes off the piece for me.
If you have an idea for a piece that will satisfy your personal likings I challenge the opportunity to create it for you whether it be big or small. Please feel free to sign my guest book and your input is very well appreciated.
