Artist Statement:
My world is made of colors and
ideas. So when I begin a
painting I commence with a
concept that emerges from
thought, where sense and
nonsense collide into a
fantastic atmosphere that
merges into symbolic scenery
reconnecting with the original
idea. To create is nothing
else than to remember
something that is in the depth
of our souls, and revive it in
the evanescence of color
drops, ready to be spread in
new dimensions.
My research continues with the
smear of colors that I love so
much. I think that learning to
paint helps one find and
re-experience innocence,
celebrating with Alice the
birthday-not-birthday of
everyday.
