Artist Statement:
Francesca Roncagliolo was born
in Lima, Peru, 1978, and now
lives and works in Madrid,
Spain. She holds an MA in Art
and New Technologies as well
as studies in Fine Arts,
Photography and New Media
attended in Spain, Cánada and
Perú. Her works have been
shown at various places in
Spain and Latin America,
including Premi Miquel
Casablancas 2005 in Barcelona,
Centro de Arte Joven, Madrid,
Circuitos de Artes Plásticas y
Fotografía, 2004 Madrid,
Centro de Artes Visuales de
Santiago, Chile, Museo de Arte
Contemporaneo de la UNL, Santa
Fe, Argentina. Net art and
video projects have been
shown and projected at the
Orillas´06 Digital Art Show,
The HZ NET GALLERY, The
Technarte 06, in Bilbao, and
TeleMadrid, among others.
