My oilpaintings have
everything to do with the
course
of time.
Tiny figures, mostly children,
occur in the
paintings while waiting,
thinking and hesitating about
the future.
One step ahead is a big
decision.
The space they live in is
colourful.
Sometimes a bit worn,
perished, sometimes radiant
and
bright.
But there is always this
'being in time' without
action.
Leaving, waiting, jumping,
floating are titles that
belong to my work...
