Artist Statement:
My body of work focuses on
self expression and
resolution. It is truly a
self refelecting mirror in
which I find solutions to the
everyday common problems. I
respond to chaos that engulfs
me by capturing it in the
overwhelmingly tedious art
details that yet somehow has a
defined structure and sense.
It is a method and approach I
take to resolve internal
conflicts. Inspired by a wide
range of artists, I examine
ways to respond to the
different and changing views
offered.
My work has been exhibited in
two student hosted exhibitions
at the UC Berkeley Art Museum.
It has also been shown at the
Pete and Susan Barrett Art
Gallery and at Soulstice, An
Asian American Arts Showcase.
